Outer space commonly known as Space is the empty regions that are present in the universe beyond the atmosphere of the celestial bodies. Astronomy is the study of objects in space, this curiosity of man has been the key factor for space exploration. The dream of space exploration came true when the invention of rockets happened during the early 20th century. The main competitors in space exploration were the Soviet Union and United States. This competition slowly turned into cooperation and lead to what is known as the international space station. Man has succeeded to a great extent even in this field of science.
